ABOUT
Jena Thomas is a dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) providing psychiatric care to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, ADHD, and other complex psychiatric conditions, with a particular focus on treatment-resistant depression and advanced treatment options, including Spravato® (esketamine) and ketamine therapy.
Jena completed her post-master’s psychiatric training at Johns Hopkins University and earned her Master of Science in Nursing in Family Practice from Frontier Nursing University. She also completed specialized training in and certification in Ketamine and Psychedelic Assisted Therapy through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute and holds a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University.
With training in both psychiatric and family medicine, Jena brings a broad clinical perspective to mental health care and considers the biological, psychological, and medical factors that can contribute to psychiatric symptoms. Her approach is evidence-based, individualized, and collaborative, with an emphasis on understanding each patient’s unique history, symptoms, and treatment goals.
